It has now been over a year since COVID-19 came into our lives. In March of 2020 California issued a statewide shelter in place order. During this time to keep myself from going insane, I decided to keep busy and step out of my comfort zone with this project. My intentions with project Macro was to capture the delicacy, and really emphasize the soft lines that flowers have to offer. By no means did I try and pick the perfect flower to shoot and that is because no one is perfect. The ruffled edges of the petals give so much character to these shots.
